Ingredients

16 oz lean ground beef (93/7)

2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced

1 cup low-fat cottage cheese

½ avocado, diced

½ yellow onion, thinly sliced (optional)

1 tbsp avocado oil

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

½ tbsp honey (optional, for adults)

½ tsp ground cinnamon

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

½ tsp paprika

Pinch of black pepper

Optional: honey + red pepper flakes (omit for kids)

Instructions

Prepare Sweet Potatoes:

Peel and dice sweet potatoes into small cubes. Toss with avocado oil, cinnamon, and a pinch of garlic salt. Roast at 400°F or air-fry for 20 minutes until soft.

      Cook Ground Beef:

In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper. Cook until no longer pink, about 12–14 minutes.

          (Optional) Grilled Onions:

Sauté sliced onions in butter with Worcestershire sauce and a little honey. Cook until soft and slightly caramelized.

              Assemble the Bowl:

In each bowl, layer sweet potatoes, ground beef, avocado, and cottage cheese. Skip the honey drizzle for children or add a very light amount depending on their preference.

                  Notes

                  • Skip hot honey and spicy seasonings for toddlers.
                  • You can prep the beef and potatoes ahead for up to 3–4 days.
                  • For picky eaters, serve each component separately in a divided plate.
